Founded in 1854, the Chart Room at Chase Leavitt today
provides a wide range of products and services for boaters of Northern New
England. Our crew consists of delivery shippers, racing enthusiasts, and
licensed professional seamen. One common thread bonds us all - we love the
sea and the ships who sail her.
The Chart Room sells a complete line of nautical
publications and charts. It is a dealer for NOAA, DMA, Canadian Hydro and
British Admiralty Charts. It also sells USGS topographic maps covering the
entire state of Maine. Casco Bay cruisers and round-the-world trippers can be
outfitted with navigational aids to meet their specific needs.
The Life Raft Department of Chase Leavitt has your safety
as its primary concern. We are the only facility north of Boston certified to
offer comprehensive sales, servicing, repacking and repair of all major life
raft brands. Our safety and survival division can attend to all of your life
raft needs. In addition, it offers sales and service of Achilles, Avon, and
Caribe inflatable boats.
