Captain
Moody graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 1982 and holds an Unlimited Masters
License. As Agency Manager, he incorporates 14 years of sea going experience as a Deck
Officer and Master aboard Tankers and Govt. Research Vessels into the daily operations of
the Agency. As an experienced Staff Surveyor he has attended various surveys to include;
cargo loss, pre-condition, draft surveys, and loading supervision.

Captain Guay graduated from
Maine Maritime Academy in 1984. he has varied sea going experience
having sailed on Container,Tanker and Cruise ships. He has an additional eight years as a
senior analyst in the development of automated shipboard/shoreside systems for the
maritime industry. In addition to his experience as a Cargo Surveyor, Mr. Guay managed a
nationwide survey effort monitoring and inspecting the transportation of hazardous
materials for the DOD.
Captain William Leavitt - President
Emeritus
Captain Leavitt graduated from Maine Maritime Academy as a deck officer in 1949 and joined
the family firm in 1955 after serving in the Merchant Marine and U.S. Navy. Mr. Leavitt
has been active in the survey field for over 40 years. He has acted as surveyor for
underwriters, Germanischer Lloyd, ICGB, NAMS and has been actively involved in training of
the staff. |
